Apply the oil to the skin and massage in long strokes. For a more comfortable experience, massage away from the heart rather than toward it. Alternate soft caresses with firmer movements and higher pressure, ensuring all tension in the muscles is released.

For an enriched experience, heat the massage oil in a warm water bath before applying it to the body. Pour the oil you intend to use into a small drinking glass and place it in a bowl with warm water for five minutes. Hot tap water at about 45 degrees Celsius will do the trick. This also releases some of the essential oils into the air, creating a wonderful atmosphere with the scent you have chosen.
